These mango popsicles with yogurt and honey are a new family favorite! A simple and tasty mango popsicle recipe perfect for the summer season!
What You'll Need:
Ingredients:
- Mango chunks, fresh or frozen
- Greek Yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- Pure Vanilla Extract
- Honey
Equipment:
- Blender or Food Processor
- Funnel
- Popsicle Molds
How to Make the Mango Popsicles:
This mango popsicle recipe is so easy, it quite simply does not need to have a recipe! I did a 2:1 ratio for the mangoes to yogurt mixture. Blend the mango and yogurt with a teaspoon of vanilla yogurt and 1 tablespoon of honey in a blender. If you don't have a blender, a masher to break down the mango can also work, and then mix it with the remaining ingredients in a mixing bowl.
When you have the mixture ready, transfer a little bit at a time slowly into a funnel above the mold. If you don't have a funnel, gently pour or spoon the mixture into each mold and then wipe up any messes. I have done this both ways and came out fine either way! Cover securely and place the popsicle sticks into the molds; some molds come with individual and reusable sticks that cover each mold.
Place the molds in the freezer upright and free of space and set for at least 4 hours or overnight. When the popsicles are ready and frozen solid, run them under warm water to loosen them and gently pull them out of the mold (or push them out from the bottom).
Popsicle molds can vary in size, most standard ones include 6 to 8 popsicles. This mango popsicle recipe made 8 popsicles in my standard 8 popsicle mold.
Homemade popsicles can last about a month or longer with no signs of freezer burn. Store them in an airtight container or sealed bag to keep moisture out.
Variations:
These popsicles are considered gluten-free as long as the Greek Yogurt is not at risk of cross-contamination with gluten. The yogurt will be stated by the manufacturer if there is a risk of contamination versus being labeled gluten-free.
These mango popsicles can be made vegan using a non-dairy yogurt instead of the greek yogurt, and by substituting maple syrup or other vegan sweetener for the honey.
The mango can also be replaced with other delicious fruits, such as peaches, berries, and melon!
If you are using vanilla Greek yogurt, you don't need to add vanilla extract and can even omit the honey if the vanilla-flavored yogurt is already sweetened.
Whichever you decide, I hope you enjoy this simple and delicious mango popsicle recipe! The whole family will enjoy this refreshing treat this summer!

4. For less mess when pouring the mixture into the molds, pour over a funnel or spoon into the molds.
