How to Make S'mores in the Oven, No Campfire Needed! These baked s'mores are a perfect family treat requiring only a sheet pan!

What You'll Need:

Ingredients:

  • 1 box of Graham Crackers
  • Large Marshmallows
  • 1-2 Large Chocolate Bars

Equipment:

  • Sheet pan or baking dish
  • Spatula

How to Make S'mores in the Oven:

Making s'mores in the oven is incredibly easy and provides that gooey, chocolatey goodness without the need for a campfire. Here's how:

Simply layer a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or foil with graham cracker squares (about 2.5"), making sure to fill the entire pan without any gaps.

Lay a chocolate square and a marshmallow on top of each square.

After cooking in the oven for 5-7 minutes, remove from the oven and top with the additional graham cracker square (halved graham cracker).

Serve and enjoy! It's that simple!

Variations:

To make Gluten-Free: Substitute gluten-free graham crackers for traditional graham crackers. Make sure the marshmallows and chocolate bars are labeled gluten-free; most versions do not contain gluten.

To make vegan: Substitute vegan marshmallows for traditional marshmallows. Most contain gelatin, a protein derived from animal products. Double-check your chocolate bar label to make sure it is dairy-free for a vegan alternative. Dark chocolate should not contain any milk products.

For a fun twist: Try a smear of delicious Nutella or peanut butter instead of chocolate! Or different crackers, such as Ritz crackers!

These tasty treats can be stored afterwards in an airtight container for 2-3 days and can be reheated for that gooey texture. For the best taste, eat them as is and enjoy!

Notes

*I used a 13' x 18" sheet pan and could arrange 4 x 6 graham crackers to make 24 total in the pan.

**For a vegetarian or vegan option, make sure the marshmallows do not contain animal gelatin. Check the package labeling for details.
