How to Make Hot Honey Brussels Sprouts:

Prep the Veggies-The first step is prepping the vegetables! Clean and trim the sprouts and peel the shallots. Transfer the halved Brussels sprouts and sliced shallots or onions to a large mixing bowl. Set aside a parchment-lined baking sheet.

Make the Hot Honey - Whisk the olive oil, honey, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl—salt and pepper to taste.

Mix Together- Pour the hot honey mixture into the mixing bowl and toss to coat the sprouts and onion.

Roast the Veggies-Transfer the vegetables coated in hot honey to the baking sheet and spread evenly. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes and toss the vegetables halfway through cooking. The vegetables will be ready once they have a nice browning.

How to Store Hot Honey Brussel Sprouts:

Make sure the dish is completely cooled before storing. Place the sprouts in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.

Variations:

For a vegan version, replace the honey and use pure maple syrup.

These sprouts are naturally gluten-free!

Not a fan of Brussels sprouts? Use broccoli, cauliflower, root vegetables, or even bok choy!

If you prefer hot honey already made, I have used one Mike's Hot Honey and enjoyed it!
