This whipped feta with honey dip and juicy roasted grapes adds flavor to your next charcuterie board or appetizer to entertain for the next football game or holiday party!
2 cups whole red grapes, stems removed
1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
1 teaspoon dried rosemary (see Notes)
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
8 ounces feta crumbles
6 ounces plain yogurt
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon lemon juice (about half a lemon)
1/4 cup pure honey
Optional toppings: chopped almonds, dried oregano, fresh parsley, and additional honey
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the grapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and drizzle with the olive oil, rosemary, and salt. Toss to combine and spread the grapes evenly on the sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until browning occurs, and rotate halfway through cooking.
While the grapes are roasting, transfer the feta cheese, yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, and honey to a food processor. Pulse until evenly mixed to a creamy consistency. This will slightly whip the feta making it a smooth dip. Transfer the feta mixture to a serving dish. Top with additional honey, almonds, and fresh herbs (optional).
Serve with the roasted grapes on the side or sprinkled on top. Try it dipped with crackers, a baguette, or with cold veggies as an appetizer!
